Quality Alberta Beef

-all natural - grass fed - barley finished -

We are full for our 2024 beef orders, thanks to all who have continued to support us & have enjoyed our beef! please inquire soon for next year, we buy our beef in the spring and butcher in the late fall, butchering usually needs to be booked 6-12mo in advance.

Our Longhorn cross cattle are born in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains just West of Sundre. Our cattle are grass fed on our pastures in central Alberta. They are an excellent source of lean meat, with light marbling to add a rich flavour. We finish our steers for 120 days with a locally grown and sourced, custom rolled barley ration while still allowing free-choice access to pasture grass and hay for roughage. Our steers are finished as two year olds. We believe they are at the best stage of frame development for optimum gain and production of meat that is tender, juicy and flavourful!

We are accepting a limited number of orders, as we like to raise them in a smaller group to more effectively monitor their feed & health. The cattle are finished in late fall/early winter and ready for butchering at that time.

On average, our steers will finish out around 1000-1100lbs on the hoof, hanging weight averaging 5500lbs. Depending on desired cuts, customers can expect roughly 300lbs of meat from a full steer.

If interested, please contact us for our 2025 pricing, We offer full or half beef options.
